Leatrice De Bruhl
Motivational and inspirational speaker, certified grief coach and mentor, author, mental health advocate, educator, and the CEO and founder of Phenomenal B.L.A.Qu.E. Women, LLC.
In her book Craziness Faith: You Have It or You Don’t, she tells her story plainly: surviving abuse, a career clouded by suspicion and unjust accusations, relentless public scrutiny, a season of incarceration, and then the loss that outweighed all of it, her son Malik, known as Leek. The question she wrestled with is the one many people carry quietly: where is God in the middle of suffering?
Her answer became a company. Read her story.
Get journey ready
Grief is inevitable in life. We learn to carry it with grace. As we push through our healing, we honor the ones we love. We can grow through it together, not alone. Grace to Grieve walks that road in three movements.
Embrace the reality of loss
Learning to acknowledge your grief without shame, denial or suppression, and creating space for honesty and healing.
Find strength in the valley
Building emotional resilience, faith and healthy coping tools so you can carry grief without being consumed by it.
Transform pain into purpose
Discovering meaning in the journey, honoring your loved one, and creating a pathway forward with renewed hope.
Craziness Faith: You Have It or You Don’t
Not a book about perfect belief. A book about the kind of faith that looks impossible to the world, written for readers who are grieving a deep loss, healing from trauma, or searching for hope.
Sometimes the faith that looks the craziest is the faith that carries us through.

Before you reach out
What does B.L.A.Qu.E. stand for?
Blessed Like A Queen in Everyway. It is the conviction the whole company is built on: that a woman who has been through loss, injustice or heartbreak is still blessed, still royal, and still called to purpose.
What kind of events does Leatrice speak at?
Conferences, women's events, church services and gatherings, community programs, panels and podcasts. Her talks are faith-based and built on inspirational storytelling from her own life: loss, injustice, rebuilding and purpose.
What is Grace to Grieve?
Grace to Grieve is the signature movement of Phenomenal B.L.A.Qu.E. Women. It offers compassionate grief coaching, mentorship and support for people navigating loss, with a particular heart for grieving mothers. The aim is to carry grief with grace and grow through it together, not alone.
Is grief coaching the same as therapy?
No. Grief coaching and mentorship are faith-based support for walking through loss and finding a way forward. They are not counseling, psychotherapy or medical care, and they do not replace a licensed professional when one is needed.
Is the mentorship only for women?
Phenomenal B.L.A.Qu.E. Women exists to inspire women, and the mentorship is written for women rebuilding after adversity. Speaking engagements and the Grace to Grieve support reach anyone navigating loss.
